5008 PROGRAMMABLE MULTI-GAS CALIBRATOR
Configurations:
Model 5008
This is the "stripped down" configuration used for
applications involving dilution of external gas cylinders for pollutants such as CO, SO2,
CH4, NO and NO2.
Model 5008 w/DET
Added to the configuration above is a pyrex reaction chamber and an
internal ozone generating subsystem controlled by an ozonator-detector feedback system. In
addition to dilution of external gas cylinders this unit has the ability to perform ozone
and Gas Phase Titration (GPT) calibrations. The detector feedback system controls ozone
output by correlating the ozonator lamps light intensity against the resulting ozone
output as measured by an external ozone standard. An internal regression analysis is
performed by the units computer to correct for any non-linearity of the data
obtained.
Model 5008 w/D&P
Added to the Model 5008 configuration is a pyrex reaction chamber and
internal ozone generating subsystem controlled by an ozonator-photometer feedback system.
As with the Model 5008 w/DET, there are the added capabilities of performing ozone and GPT
calibrations. The UV photometric feedback system controls ozone output by measuting the
actual ozone output. This system only needs to be re-calibrated as often as an ozone
primary standard.
